Inclusive Beaches Program
This summer, Warilla-Barrack Point will be one of 40 Surf Life Saving clubs across Australia running inclusion programs for people of different abilities. ‘Inclusive Beaches’ is a SLS initiative which aims to assist Surf Life Saving clubs to support the inclusion of people of different abilities and backgrounds to join their local club and learn to be safe at the beach.
Any support from cadets, students, community and club members would be greatly appreciated. What better way to give back to the community than spending time on the beach supporting our young nippers as they learn skills in the surf.
Hours contributed satisfies ‘High School Premiers Community Service Award’ requirements. Volunteers will also be awarded a Certificate of Appreciation and will be supplied with a reference.
